Shamiat for Exhibitors · DWTC

Exhibition catering, two minutes from the DWTC halls

Shamiat is directly opposite Dubai World Trade Centre, at Duja Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road. During GITEX, Gulfood, Arab Health, Big 5 and every other DWTC show, we feed stand teams, conference delegates and corporate groups — group tables in the restaurant, bulk mezze and charcoal-grill platters delivered to the booth, and late meals after teardown. All halal, all made fresh, all arranged on one WhatsApp message.

What we handle during a show

Exhibition catering is a logistics problem more than a food problem — the food has to arrive at a precise time, feed an exact headcount, and not need a kitchen on site. That is what we set up for.

🍽️

Booth & stand platters

Bulk mezze, charcoal-grill and sandwich platters delivered to your stand at a set time. Disposable service, no chafing gear needed, nothing for your team to clean up.

👥

Group tables in the restaurant

Reserve for 6 to 60. Your team walks across Sheikh Zayed Road, eats a proper sit-down meal, and is back on the stand inside an hour.

📦

Corporate lunch delivery

Daily delivery to nearby Sheikh Zayed Road offices, One Central meeting rooms and hotel suites for the duration of the show.

🌙

After-teardown meals

The kitchen runs until 5 AM. When the hall closes late and every other restaurant has shut, we have not.

📋

Advance show-day orders

Lock the whole week in before the show opens — one order, fixed daily times, one invoice at the end.

🥗

Vegetarian & dietary needs

Every platter can run vegetarian, and we flag allergens on request. All meat is halal as standard.

Which shows

Built for the DWTC calendar

The Dubai World Trade Centre calendar runs most of the year, and the catering brief changes with it. A tech show needs fast platters for a stand that is never unmanned; a trade show needs proper hosting for buyers. We have done both.

💻

GITEX Global

Stand teams that cannot leave the booth. Timed platter drops and coffee runs.

🍲

Gulfood

Buyers being hosted properly — group tables and a full Shami spread that is not more show food.

🩺

Arab Health

Long clinical days, early starts, delegates who want something real between sessions.

🏗️

Big 5 Global

High headcount, hungry crews, bulk grill platters at scale.

💄

Beautyworld & GulfHost

Smaller stands, frequent light platters, a lot of guests passing through.

Questions, answered

Can you cater our exhibition stand at Dubai World Trade Centre?
Yes. Shamiat is at Duja Tower, a two-minute walk across Sheikh Zayed Road from the DWTC halls, and we regularly cater stands and conference teams during GITEX, Gulfood, Arab Health, Big 5 and other shows. We deliver bulk mezze and charcoal-grill platters directly to the booth at a set time. Send the show name, dates and headcount on WhatsApp to +971 54 781 6266 for a quote.
How far is Shamiat from the DWTC exhibition halls?
About a two-minute walk. Shamiat is on the ground floor of Duja Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road, Trade Centre First — directly opposite Dubai World Trade Centre. It is one of the closest full-service restaurants to the halls, which is why exhibitor teams use it for both delivery and sit-down group meals.
Do you take group bookings for exhibition teams?
Yes — from 6 to around 60 people. Group tables are worth booking ahead during show weeks because DWTC events fill every restaurant on this stretch of Sheikh Zayed Road. Call or WhatsApp with your date, time and headcount.
Can we order for every day of the show in advance?
Yes, and it is the easiest way to run it. Give us the show dates, the daily headcount and the delivery time, and we lock the whole week in as one standing order with a single invoice at the end. Changes to headcount can be made up to the morning of each day.
Is the food halal?
Yes. Shamiat is a fully halal Syrian and Levantine kitchen. Vegetarian platters are available for every package, and we can flag allergens on request.
Do you serve after the exhibition halls close?
Yes. The kitchen is open every day until 5 AM, so teams working late on teardown or build-up can still get a proper meal when most of Sheikh Zayed Road has closed.
What kind of food do you serve for exhibition catering?
Authentic Syrian and Levantine — mezze spreads (hummus, moutabel, tabbouleh, fattoush, kibbeh, sambousek), charcoal mixed grills, shish taouk and lamb chops, fresh manakish, and sweets. It travels well, holds temperature, and is a genuine alternative to the sandwich boxes that circulate at every trade show.

Feeding a stand at DWTC?

Send the show, the dates and the headcount. We reply with a platter plan and a fixed quote — no forms, no back-and-forth.
